诺克斯学校建立于1904年，是一所小型的男女合校制私立中学，提供6到12年级以及大学预科课程，其中7到12年级招收寄宿生。学校获得美国中部各州学校联合会的认证，同时也是美国以及纽约州私立学校联合会成员。学校提供家庭式的学习环境，教师通过荣誉档案项目给学生进行辅导，同时通过运动和周末活动，教师与学生之间建立友谊。学校的核心理念是：勇气、尊重、知识、正直、善良和责任。学校有3名专门的教育顾问帮助高年级学生准备SAT和TOEFL考试以及大学的申请，并且鼓励学生参与体育活动，以培养团结协作的精神。
